Late 8/26 BL report

Sorry for the late report.

Me, Shawn, Trey and a friend of mine from Lafayette headed out Friday morning. After catching some mullets, went south end of the channel. Caught a few there on mullet. Tide picked up and the bite slowed down. Wind was north so decided to head way south. Got a text from a buddy, thanks again, and headed to the rocks at Holly Beach and it was on. We actually caught the tail end of the bite but did manage to get our 60 trout. We kept 2 reds and released about 15 more. Found a rip on the way in and looked for some 3tail. Found 2 but did not catch them.

Mr. Raymond, I fished your spot this morning with mullet and plastic, it was slow. Guide on the outside of the next set of rocks was doing well with live shrimp. Couldn't catch any shrimp. Oh well.
