Default Big Lake- 11-16

Had a great day on the water with a couple of friends from the Baton Rouge Area. One guy had never fished the lake before so it was good to get him on some fish. We left Heberts with a 15mph SW wind so decided to cut across lake to west bank and get out of the swells. Caught fish from the moment we got there and a great mixture of trout and reds. Chart/Red was a little better than the other colors we used but white and opening night did well too. Went to the south end of the lake and hit some decent schools of reds. Had a triple and landed everyone of them which was quite a show with everybody going under and over a least twice. Had 30-35 trout and 12 reds. Gave all the fish to those guys so did not get a box shot but here are a couple of the reds off that triple.

Fished in the morning and made a duck hunt in the afternoon. To get any better than that, I would have to call professionals in!
