Default Trout Shootout Rules Question

Raymond may be the best one to answer this question, but I saw this on the rules for the shootout:

Boundaries are Sabine Lake, LA side to the Gulf

Jetties to catfish locks on Mermentau River. Pub
licAreas Only! Licensed anglers must launch on

LA side and fish on LA side.
May be a stupid question, but does this mean that the jetties are the southern most boundary and it would be illegal to fish the rocks on the beaches or the close rigs?

Just curious...

Nope, you can fish the rocks along the beach or close in rigs. Those rules in place are to determine the east-west boundaries only.

For the Sabine Lake anglers, how far west does the Louisiana side of the lake go?
