Garden and a Fig!
Beans both wax and green doing real well this year. Radishes went bonkers and pulled em, but they were great when we had them. Lettuce & spinach is going to be good for another week or to. Peppers and eggplants and especially cucumbers seem to be growing pretty slow this year... seems like my cucumbers are barely doing anything. basil, dill, thyme, and parsley's are coming along good nothing like fresh spices Apple, Fig, and Pear tree's are slap LOADED DOWN with fruit this year, going to be canning like crazy. speaking of figs, i have a freak fig that started growing in like february.. its like 3 times the size of a normal one! I trimmed the lemons last year pretty heavy and they look like they are gonna have a somewhat reduced harvest this year (i am okay with that 20+ bushels of lemons last year was insane) Gonna be some good eats this year!!! |

When me and the ole lady decided to settle down we got us a rent house. That house had the best fig tree. I would give my self the ****s every night eating them things.

Man that is a huge fig. My grandparent's have one in the back yard and used to always have figs from that tree and a couple of others around town we were allowed to pick from. Nothing like some good figs on homemade biscuits. Has always been one of my favorite foods because it reminds me of all those good times waking up around 4 in the morning and going fishing with PawPaw. He always had coffee on the stove (hate that stuff) and figs and homemade biscuits for breakfast. Had one jar of them last year and haven't had any in a while now. That stuff's like crack!!

Yep, I don't know that you could buy anything better to put on a biscuit.
