Default 2006 frontier 190

Looking at buying a used bay boat in the 18-19 ft range. I'm currently looking at a 2006 frontier 190 with a 115 Yamaha two stroke for $13,500. Seems like that price is a little high for something 9 yrs old. Anyone have any input?

not saying it's high or low, but I have a 2007 Frontier 190 with a 150 Etec that I wouldn't take $13,500 for----maybe $23,500

depends on boat condition, hours on motor, accessories, and condition of trailer. If everything is in great shape and boat is fully rigged with up to date electronics, trolling motor, power pole, etc. Then thats proabaly a decent price.

I would say that is a good price. The thing about boats that they depreciate quickly at first but the depreciation slows down after a few years. I would look on boat trader or somewhere else and see if I could find some boats similar to this one and compare prices. NADA also has some vague prices on used boats, but I don't think they are very accurate.

Default Frontier

Thanks for the input guys. The motor has 350 hours so that's pretty good I think. And no power pole but it's got a trolling motor, gps, stereo and a few other things

Cajun Bill, do you have any complaints about your frontier? Would you recommend it?

Yea Meaux the price I got on the NADA Site is what kinda scared me off.. But if I ever saw a frontier boat for that price I don't think it would last long. Not sure what to think about that NADA value

Lots of people list boats higher than they think theyre worth, doesnt mean he wont take less if you show up with cash in hand

I think NADA price is only for the boat. Then you have to add for the motor and trailer prices separately. That's what I've heard anyways. I think others on hear have brought that up before.

Ya beat me to the punch ... Motor is a $4000 add and the trailer is $700.

Those figures still don't account for the following if equipped : TM / Electronics / PP / Tabs / Ect ....

Which all could bring a little more to the table.

Besides if it's really clean I'd be willing to pay a little more than book.

OCD clean used boats are hard to find.

Yes, original owner and I still love it. There have been times that I wish I had the 21ft. version, especially when I'm trying to fish 3 or more, but I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the hull (or the motor). And the customer service from Bill Kenner is awesome!

Good luck with your decision.

what I've found about NADA value is that they are way low for the price that boats are selling for in LA. Their value may be closer in other states that don't have as many people buying boats that they do in the southern states. I have no clue really, but that's just what I've found.
