Default Beaver trapper info

Anybody here trap beavers or know someone that does? My boss is having some beaver troubles at his lake at his camp and was looked big for someone to take care of them for him.

Tell him to buy a couple of these http://www.midwayusa.com/product/688...p-steel-silver. Learn how to use the rope method to set and release the trap, the tool they sell is worthless.

Had a big problem last year at our place in Evangeline Parish, after 2 months and 9 beavers later no more problem!

Take two sticks 3-4' and tie them together at the top and shove them in the mud through the spring holes to keep the trap standing. You can simply put them on the trails where the enter the water, I like to put them at least half way under water or cut a little ditch to make the water flow (they will always dam running water). Good luck.
