Anybody fishing Leeville/Grand Isle area this weekend? Looks like a early morning tide. Also going to be a bit colder? Anybody? Going to give it a try in the morning. Probably fish Catfish lake area.

Woke up this morning and went outside. Had Ice on my boat said screw it and climbed back in bed with Momma :-) Woke up again around 8 and took the kids to Burns Point. Rode out in the new boat to Marsh Island. Went around the Island and came back in to Humble Point. The water was 2 to 3 and Chocolate Milk dirty. Current was kicking through Humble point. Really just ended up boat riding. Really like the new Blazer Bay did not get wet at all was able to cruise along pretty good in the rough water no problem and got into most of the ponds I like to fish at the Island. Hope I get a break in the weather before I have to go to work to put some fish in the boat. The landing at Burns Point is nice. Lots of new parking too. They did it up right.

Better than outside but still dirty. Going to need a few days to clean up once this wind lays down I think.

Did they dredge by the launch? I launched there a couple times, and on a low tide there was a mud flat right by the launch.

The must have dredged out. There are pilings out for a long ways marking the channel and my depth finder was showing 6' all the way out. I dont really like how narrow they made launch cut. I had to back all the way out because I couldnt turn my boat but it is nice on windy days. They left the old ramp but added a longer area at the end. A big improvement overall.
