Default 4/26/15 Father/daughter trout beat down!!

The Bluewave was in action today with Steve Sasser and his daughter Terri. We had perfect conditions today and the trout responded. The first cast on a reef I have been fishing resulted into a keeper. We put a quick 20 in the K2 before it slowed. We worked over the reef for an additional 20 before we had to make a move. There were a lot of boats out today so I couldn't just go anywhere I wanted. We pulled up to our next stop and we fished in 6-8ft of water. An incoming tide had the speck wanting the bait drifting on the bottom with an occasional twitch. Terri caught our biggest trout there that went a little over 21 inches. We finished up there. It was great to watch the smack talking between the two and to see the amazement they showed each time the K2 opened to put a fish in it. Definitely a great day on the water. Double rigged Matrix in Shrimp Creole and Green Hornet was the ticket.
