Scored 7 spools of suffix for $7. didn't plan on on buying them but I figured at $1 spool why not. in fact I might go back and buy more just for the heck of it.

Academy. Somebody beat me to the lighter lines but did get the last spool of 12lb.

I am a clearance nut too. Academy has some of the best deals. Recently they put Penn Pursuit Reels on Clearance. They had them marked down from 59 to 29 bucks. At that price I still wasn't interested. My girlfriend is enjoying marsh fishing and for the sake of simplicity, I had her set up with some closed face Daiwa Goldcast reels, also bought on Academy clearance a while back. They are good for a closed face reel, but still not very good, especially when you hook into a big redfish.

So back to the Penn Pursuit. I was in Slidell Academy yesterday and they had 3 left. I decided to pass one under the scanner (which all clearanceholics know you need to do religiously!) $9.98 !!!! I bought all three.

One of the issues with buying clearance baits is that when you find one that works really well, there's n going back and buying more. They are normally a discontinued item.

Was at academy last week they had 20-30lb suffix on sale for $.98 a spool. I was gonna buy some but I doubt I'll ever get around to using it so I passed. Its probably still there for those of you looking to spool up some spare rods and reels

Clothes are my clearance deal........Oh, yea.....I'll buy sports gear for sure....but clothes are just not that big of a deal for me.....so I shop the "DillMart" at the ole Cortana Mall Dillards.......I usually but shirts for 9.99......name brand stuff too.......
