Default Please wear your life vest and kill switch

A friend of mine Mark Courville died this weekend in a boating accident. As of now there are still alot of unknowns, but he wasnt wearing his life vest or his kill switch. He will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him. So in his memory i will continue to spread the word, please wear your life vests and kill switches you never know what can happen on the water.

RIP Mark
You will truly be missed

RIP Mark. Great guy and will be missed alot. I have only known him for the last 3 years but he was a great guy and really enjoyed the time I was able to spend with him on our hunting lease. Leaves a bad knot in your stomache when something we take for granted like just taking the boat for an afternoon ride turns out something like this.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. I may not have one on while i idle through a stump field but prior to mashing the hotfoot, everyone will have one on in my boat. Mine stays attached to the kill switch and when i stop it comes off and stays in the driver's seat, ready to be put on.

yes, it happened Saturday late afternoon and they found him just after noon yesterday. Really going to miss him around our camp. We always had a good time with him around with the live music he played and his good cooking.

That is terrible...I used to drive my tiller with no kill switch or life jacket untill I got thrown out the boat. I was very lucky that whatever I hit killed the motor and walked away with minor bruises.

Sorry for your loss.

I bought one of the HIT Mustangs to try and get in the habit of wearing it more (love it). I wear it religously at Toledo, having a hard time doing it on Big Lake. Old habits.

I didn't know mark but my father and brother knew him. He used to work for the same company that me my brother and dad work for. They had nothing but good to say about him. Sorry to hear about this. I will start wearing my life jacket and kill switch for sure.

Default Man Oh Man

Prayers to you and his family. I just recently started wearing my lift jacket and kill switch, every trip it started as example to my boys so they would wear theirs all the time, and now just becomes habit. Just like seat belt in vehicle. You just never know.
