Was looking at the hydroturf today. Do you have to put it over a pad or can you use it without the pad straiight onto the deck? Also, any idea what the typical life is on it? Cant find much technical information on it. Thanks for any info

Marshrunner -- your rig really looks good! I am actually rebuilding a marshrunner that i bought new in '96.

Thanks! I had a marshrunner and really liked it. No padding needed. Just peel and stick. I cleaned the surface with alcohol before sticking. As far as longevity? I had this for 2.5 years when that pic was taken. The boat stayed in a shop but was on the water nearly every weekend if weather permitted. Also was pressure washed about once a month. That being said, it is very durable. I now have an Xpress bass boat and plan on hydroturf later in the year.
