Default Chevrolet

Right now chevy would get my vote! My Z71 is a sweet ride. But, my old dodge and no problems what so ever. The Z71 rides like a cadillac compared to my Ram that rode like a brick.

I love my tundra. Had a 2000' for 8 years, not a problem 1. traded it in about 8 mo. ago on a new bigger one, love this one even more. It will snap yo head back when you hit the passing gear. the four wheel drive on it is bad to the bone. Only slight negative would be the gas mileage.

Thumbs up Ford Ford Ford Ford

We have all Fords. 1999 Ford F-150 Lariat 4 X 4 150,000 miles, 2007 Ford Explorer 38,ooo miles, 2003 F-250 FX 4 Power Stroke 108,000, 1983 Ranger 4 X 4 God only knows how many miles this thing has. Bought the Explorer after my wife totalled a 2000 Expedition. It had 173, 000 miles on it and only changed brakes 2 times. The rice burner sales people talk about dependability. I tell them if they will refund my money on a rice burner if it requires more maintenance than that I will buy it. They back talk then. Switched from Chevrolet to Ford after numerous transmission, A/C problems on several GM Trucks and Vans. No more problems so far.

I still have a 90 model Ford 250 diesel ,96 chevy 1/2 ton with 160k (still kickin') , but the 06 Dodge Cummins is the "Bull-of-the-Woods" now . 24 MPG and yanks a 36' fifth wheel without even breathing hard. The interior and fit and finish on the Dodge is somewhat generic and cheesy but that's not what gets me down the road. I've got a lot of good memories made in all three trucks. My wife don't understand why I can't part with them. Sentimental attachment I guess....

My family has always owned chevy's and for the most part never had any troubles with them. none that i can remember any ways. Last year i bought a new z71 with the 5.3. Love my truck, but the fuel mileage isn't the best get about 17 on the hwy and 15 in town. But pulling my 19' nautic star(with everything in it including 49 gallons of gas) to grande isle; it got 14 mpg, which I thought was pretty good.
