Got the same setup, but with a castaway pole. Very nice. The penn spinfisher SSg 420, and 430 are very good reels.

x2 on that sedona

i really like the shimano sedona for a value-priced reel. $60 for a well balanced reel with a good instant-anti reverse, good deal. add that reel to a clarus lifetime warrantry rod and you have a nice, light, sensitive and well-balanced combo for $130.. and it'll last for years.

I wish I had the nerve to grow one! If I did, I'd keep the rest as short as it is now and, the back, that would be half way down my back would be permed and highlighted!

Got the Okuma Inspira 30 and Epixor 30. They get wet all the time when I wade and just a little spritz of fresh water and some lube and they good to go. Got one on a 7ft Castaway and another on a 7 ft. Berkley Lightnin' Rod. I got 10 lb Big Game on em and they work just fine for me. They are really great trout combos, too. Just gotta play the reds a little and let the rod and drag do the work. Fun, fun.....

i have two of the sedonas going on seven years. Time for an upgrade though, these are the old style sedonas. The newer ones are sweet!
