I have been told there is a guy in Moss Bluff just off of Campfire Road somewhere that fixes trolling motors.... but that is all I know.

If you're anywhere near Lafayette I'd recommend Superior at 116 Banks Ave. The best.

I know a guy that had the same experience with others working on it... he just started fixing it himself. They come apart pretty easy if you take pics along the way as you break it down. Buy the replacement parts... like the ones that are cracked .. put it back together and get on the water.

I have had GREAT luck with R1 Bass in Beaumont Tx. I have brought my minn kota there on two different occasions and both times they have fixed my problem that day while I stayed in Beaumont so I would not have to make extra trip back. I would highly recommend them, call them before you come and explain your situation and see if they can help you!!
