FlagUS Sabine River 2/8/2015

Fished Daylight till dark on sabine river. First time ever fishing the area. Took some info that a few ppl gave me about the area and headed out. It was very tough all day. At 3 oclock we only had 5 fish in the boat and about 6 bites all day... then we hit one lil cut.. had better water in it and it was moving... ended up boating about 40 bass total but all were released to catch again! Great day on the water!

Nice fish! I find bass fishing on that river is influenced a lot more on tidal movement than the Calcasieu because of the close proximity of the Intracoastal canal. It's hard to think about tides when you're bass fishing but...
