Calcasieu river today
Anyone had any luck lately? I know the water is muddy but I hear the bite is picking up. I'll give the report this evening.

did pretty good two weekends ago, in Toledo last weekend so I wasn't able to go

I fished this morning and caught 11. Seen Iaconelli, Tommy Biffle , Cliff Poche and a couple of other pros. Talked to Biffle for about 15 minutes, super nice guy. Anyways, water is muddy but the fish bass were biting good.

Caught 9. Nothing really large. Yeah I saw the pros as well talked to biffle too. He stopped and asked for directions. Then chatted for a minute. Biggest was about 2 lbs and lost one at boat maybe 2.5lb. Chasing my speed craw on the retrieve back and he hammered it at the boat. Set hook and had him for about 3sec and it was over. Going back in morning. Taking my pops.
