Lillys move around with the wind it can change in the matter of minutes. Only place you can launch without dealing with them is cypress cove. They put out booms to keep them out the launch area.

I was there Friday and put in at Butte La Rose (I think) its the one under the interstate by the tourist info place? It was fine, like the other said the wind was blowing the hyacinth all over but it was easy to navigate. Caught 25 or so sacs and a few big bream, wished I would have brought crickets or flyrod the bream were smacking in a few spots

Drove over basin at 7:00pm Monday evening and the Public launch was clear. Changes day to day with the wind direction

Went to the levee this morning with the yak. The only landing clear of lillys enough to launch was Magees. But the winds were switching more west and may start to clear up other landings.

As of yesterday the boulevard has finally cleared out of lillies. Looking forward to a great weekend. Henderson is turning on. Come check it out.
