Default Calcasieu River 2/8/15

Launched at White Oak and ran North...Didn't catch a fish till about 9:00 AM. We ended up boating 4 small bass, threw them all back. Small white spinner bait with a single Colorado blade...Slow retrieve in cuts off of the main river.

Was not bad at all yesterday. Water looks bad, of course...Saw an Eagle too! Very cool seeing one around the area.

Duffy your best luck out of White Oak is to run South, maybe Watermelon Bay, Goss Bay, Old Town Bay, there are some good docks off of gossberry road as well, I have heard nothing but bad things so far this year up north, we have done pretty well in the past up there though
