Morning bite is great. Seems to slow down in the afternoon. Caught about 25 bass and a white perch. Fish are not all the way in the backs of bays like watermelon bay and and dans bay. Not in far backs of cuts either. Further back I got the worse the bite got. Bite is really good towards the front of the bays and cuts. Want to catch a lot of 1.5lb-2lb bass? Go fish the west back going in watermelon bay when you enter. Caught about a dozen in the first 350yds of bank. Let them all go. Just kept the 3/4lb and 1lb fish. Better eating.
Colors are watermelon red and June bug and black and blue.

Flukes
White and chartreuse spinner baits
Best bite is on speed crawls and flukes for me.

Thanks. Now go catch them bass while they there. Good time to bring the wife and kids ya know. My wife not a big bass fisherman but even she caught some the other day. She loved it. Lol

Couple days ago. Caught them at pipe at little burns and at park side cut
