Ive always wondered exactly why does Duck Unlimited get so much hate in the state of Louisiana. Like I know the general cliche reason people always say because "DU hates the south'' and "DU spends all there money North and does nothing for the coast." But every time I hear someone say that I always question like "what do they not do for the South" and no one can every seem to tell me facts or any real reason why they are so against the organization. And then they have some people that even go to the extreme of believing that DU is the reason La duck hunting is continually diminishing. Besides the fact that DU has spend $118 million worth of conservation work in the state of La, twice of what they've spent in Arkansas, what is the real reason everyone hates DU so much?
