Default Henderson 7/14

Made another stop on the east side Henderson Butte La Rose launch. Caught about a dozen on soft plastics "june bug baby brushogs" and blk/chart worms. Not catching as many as last month but better size. Water looks good and river is falling so it should start turning back on soon.

Nice I need to get out there with the fly rod and tackle a few of those bad boys. You seeing any topwater action as it gets later or early in the morning?

Default Top water

Have not tried much topwater yet. Most mornings I don't get out there until around 9:00am. Got some fish on weightless plastics over the grass. See a lot of fish popping up in the thick grass patches.
Going again this morning on my way back from BR, too hard to drive by the launch and not stop and fish for a couple hours.

Default This morning

Fished again this morning for a couple hours after work. Bite has picked up with the falling river stage. Watermelon Flukes and finesse worms worked well. My buddy told me to date stamp the pics to make sure they were not recycled.

Default back again 7/20

Back fishing out of Butte La Rose this morning for a couple hours. Bite was good early 7:30 -9:00 then slacked off after that. Caught 15 on plastics mostly wat/red speed craw around grass patches. Water looked good most places.

Default Henderson 7/21

Fished again this morning in Henderson Butte La Rose side for a couple hours. Caught about a dozen on SpeedCraws and Lizzards in the grass. Water is dropping and banks are starting to be exposed with lots of vegetation around them.
