Default 460 yard kill shot

Killed my first coyote this morning with my new AR-15. Laser rangefinder said it was 460 yards. The far tree line in the second pic is where I took the shot from.

Hell of a shot. I would be bragging too. And kudos for the predator kill also.

What type of scope set up do you have to make that shot.

Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x5mm CDS Just laser range the target and dial the range into the scope. Then its just breath and squeeze.

WTG.....great shot.

I was Deer hunting a cutover a couple years ago where I could see one hillside 300 to 400 yards away. I don't think I could have attemped a shot that far from 40 feet up a big pine tree that was swaying back and fourth.
