Default My new Beater

So it would seem that some SC hardcores didn't take to kindly to my original gansta beater bustin on my wheels and such hahaha

So I felt shamed and went on a quest for a new ride!! hahaha

well not really, a buddy of mine was moving and he had this lil truck. I had actually been sorta looking for something more user friendly, for me.

Me:"So Wes, what are you going to do with your little truck that you don't drive?"

Wes: "it dosent run soI don't know"
Me: "whats wrong with it? did it run when you parked it?"\
Wes:" yes, its just been sitting, I put a new battery in it but it wont even crank now"
Me: "well how much do you want for it?"
Wes: " tell you what, give me 500$ for it as is and its yours, I need to move it before I move"
Me: "deal"

So I go to his house and I bring with me a charged battery and a voltmeter. I put the new battery in and try to start it, nothing, but everything lights up like it should, just no crank or starter turn. I get under the truck and meter the starter, its getting power, just no command to the solenoid, I go under the hood and check the relays, there are three, Im not sure which one so I smack all three of them a couple of good times and BAM!!! shes fires off!!

His wife was pissed! her word exactly "WHAT? you sold the truck to him for 500$ and he has it started in 2 minutes" she storms off.............

I told my buddy if he wanted to keep the truck that's cool, and he said no "a deals a deal, besides I need to unload this thing quick due to me moving"

Theres nothing wrong with this little truck, I charged the AC and its blowing cold!

I sold the little Honda for 1500$ and used that money to add rims, tires and a brush guard to my NEW (to me) truck.

Its a V6 with a standard, so Ill teach my son how to drive this and will probably just give it to him.

So heres my NEW 500$ beater! hopefully Salty Cajun approved!!

That's a good deal, especially with the plan to pass it to your son.

I was a little nervous to open this post . . . worried it might be a picture of you in a dirty undershirt.

I suggest washing that blue off of your white letter tires. Once that stuff gets wet then dry a few times, it's almost impossible to get off.
