Default Hard to keep running

I have a 04' 135 mercury opti. When I start it I have to throttle up some in neutral until it warms up for a 30sec or so. It does this almost every time I crank it even when I just stop for a few min. Other than that it runs great.

It started doing this last summer. I brought it to a dealer/mechanic in Houma (no name mentioned). They said it was just getting old and I should just buy a new one. First time I went to this place.

I asked a few other people that work on motors of course they said bring it in but before I just throw another 150/200 away I wanted to see if anyone had/has this issue.

No ethanol, I don't over run the RPMs and I bring it in every winter for check ups. Damn thing sees the Dr more than I do.
I do fish a lot motor has over 1500hrs.
