Friday and Saturday. Trout on reefs. And Red's around marsh island. All plastic. Mostly matrix shad.

Nice Haul. Those reds look really healthy, too. I've caught a few skinny ones at BL lately. I don't see skinny reds come out of V-Bay.

Same here, small ones at BL. Have to measure almost every one. Great catch! Looks like the green water has finally moved in!!!

On my last trip to Big Lake, about a week ago, I finally started seeing a few schools of bait.

For the past 6 weeks, I saw very few schools of bait. Maybe the fresh water in the lake and less food is reason for skinny Redfish.

nice box. this past weekend i saw alot of schools of pogies around ORJ, and the weekend before saw a LOT of mullet in oyster bayou ("west fork calcasieu river"), caught lots of humongous mullet in cast net then a few finger-sized.
havent found the reds in the usual spots but deeper water off some rocks seemed to hold a few
