Default Duck dog trainers

Does anybody know of any good Duck dog trainers in or around the Fort Polk Area? I have a black lab pup I want to get trained up. Any help would be much appreicated. Thanks!

I live On north polk about 15 min from rosepine do you guys train dogs? and how much would you charge?

We don't traim em. Just live in the area. Only bout 6 of us live that far north. Pm raymond. Great guy.

have you thought about training it yourself? Read the book "Water Dog" and you'd be surprised at how it comes out. How olds the dog? What breed? Color? Got any pics? Training isn't hard, hell Raymond can do it so it cant be that hard, just takes a lot of time and repetition is key.

Thanks for the vote of confidence there Braq.
Suggest finding a more up to date source of information than WD,it never was much of a training book. There are many DVD's on the market now that will help if you will invest the time. CajunForman is one on the site that has taken me up on help and he might be able to explain what it takes to train with me. Basic obiedience is pretty straight forward and easily followed from the dvd's. You will get an idea of what is done to produce a solid dog. Marks are not thrown from your side but out in a field where the dog can learn depth perception and negotiate obsticles. I am always training and have great property, when the pup is old enough come down and I will help you out as much as you want. I would however find professional help when it is time to force fetch the dog. This is not an area that newbies should play with.
