Default Marsh Trout Hopedale, La

Havent been getting on much the past few days cause i been at it in hopedale working and fishing...for all of you who who have been asking me about the trout moving from the breton sound to the marsh, they are in the marsh Now for good...

sunday morning easy 50 mostly top water and bayou chubs....
monday morning caught 50 before 8 under the birds slinging storm minnows...went out again at dusk and put 50 more in the boat...
tuesday..took it easy and caught a few flounder by the marina for dinner..yum..
today..caught about 20 specks that kept and 9999944882 that didnt keep at about 11 and 1/4 inches...also managed about 15 nice flounder on the super secret mud flat...the tide was falling to hard today and the wind was blowing made for hard fishing coulda probably did better with live shrimp but didnt care too...

the trout are pletnyful in hopedale right now and the flounder are all over the mud flats greatest time of the year to fish is on right now...here are some pics from monday and ill post todays pics tomorrow....

Never fished that area but I would love to. I am not like a lot of people who only like to fish the same area. I love to fish different areas. BTW, nice haul!
