Default Disposing waste gasoline?

6 gallon fuel tank for my two-stroke was mixed wrong and needs to be emptied out. Is there a place I can dispose of it legally in Lafayette?

use it in the lawn mower, don't waste it. lawn mowers will not have any problem running bad gas (unless it full of water) or just smoke a little with 2 stroke oil mixed gas.

not sure how its mixed wrong that you cant use it, but if you doubled the oil then pour half the gas in a container then add more gas to get the mix right.

Works great on ant mounds. They hate it no matter how it's mixed.

Do not run it in a lawnmower. Not sure why it is bad but it is bad. 50:1 is bad in mower. 100:1 is not good but better.

Kills grass for months. There is no grass where one of my motorcycle tanks got dumped, it was unintentional spillage, but no grass whatsoever.

This is a good option, make note to stand a little further back when you light it. I would suggest at least 5' further than this guy.

thank you

yes I actually am a jack of all trades by necessity as much as by choice. I was a mechanic and rebuilt dozens of automotive engines and transmissions as well as motorcycles, small engines, outboards, and I have also worked as a carpenter, a/c repair tech, electrician, and computer repair, so I think that qualifies as a "jack of all trades". its also why I have opinions on a lot of things, because I know a lot about a lot of stuff.

I have been poor and had to work hard all my life and cant afford to throw money at it to fix every problem so I know how to be creative and practical with solutions that sometimes sound unorthodoxed.

I have often had to figure out what to do with gas that I didn't want to use in the outboard or truck so I ran dozens of gallons of stale gas and non properly mixed 2 cycle gas through the lawn mower and its still running after all this time without a single issue, not even a fouled plug.

now running the lawn mower "all the time" on 2 cycle gas would definitely foul the plugs over time, but running a gallon or two of 2 cycle gas mixed together with regular gas wont hurt it a bit so for those without "money to burn", my advice can get valuable and cost effective use out of that gas rather then waste it killing ants or weeds with it
