Default Flushing engine when it's on a lift?

Just curious how everybody that has a lift at a marina flushes their engine. I was always told to flush your engine after each use in saltwater.

i just hook the hose to the flush nozzle. on a yamaha it's on the port side near the bottom of the cowling towards the front. i guess that's what you're talking about.

When flushing with the hose is there a difference btw the 2 flush ports? I have 2 on my suzuki.. I have one on the back side of my motor opposite side of the wires and one on middle section on the side..

I was told one is for quick flushing just for the top end power head like if the boat is kept in the water at a dock and the other is a full flush that gets all throughout the motor

No there's no difference. My dealer told me that when I bought the boat. One is for if you have it in a sling and is easier to get to and the other is for normal land based use. There is no difference between them in how and what they flush.
