Can't believe I missed this. Thanks for making my lunch break fly by. J Adams you clearly are super awesome. Why even waste so much time defending yourself ? You take time time (a lot of it) to bust the balls of someone who according to you doesn't matter. No doubt you are a great outdoorsman but I hope you do have a bunch of repeat customers b/c you didn't gain any new ones on this thread.

Oh and hunted once. 2 man limit. 6 greys 2 spoons 4 teal. So that's 100% efficiency rating. Pretty sure I win.

I've actually been hunting ducks since I was 7. I'm 27 now. Could I be playing dumb? Prolly not, right?

Adams doesn't have any wood ducks. But poooh they came down the Johnson Bayou Thanksgiving day. They seen the mergansers in that marsh so the swung wide. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1386184980.263197.jpg

Nice hunt....My buddy had some come into his spread at four mile square this year which is unusual for his blind.

The real question seems to be:
Do you have to be a good hunter to kill a limit of ducks?
Or could any office hunter kill a limit in a good blind?

I would say an officer hunter could easily kill a limit in a good blind if he can half way shoot. I started hunting very late in life and I do not have the skills of most of you on here. I'm learning and I put 100 percent of my time into getting better but I can't beat years of experience that you all have.

Your doing it the right way! teaching your kids the right way and at the same letting them experience success. Letting them get that experience of success goes a long way. I believe they will now love it for life and your creating a love for them that a lot of kids may never see. Wish you woulda got into it along time ago bc I think you would love it that much more. Seeing those smiles in your posts are priceless!!! Good job dad!!

When you see spots bc you been looking so hard to see erry duck in the am.... You love it! Isn't it so easy to get hooked on? I love to fish but nothing gets me pumped like whistling wings.... The tide never stops moving, the deer never stop moving...its always some type if action and so many more times you sit back and say.... Wow... You don't see this everyday....priceless.... That's what I want nate(bassykr) to see! Duck hunting success! I have a harder time bringing ppl on weekends bc of the amount of ppl in our lease and he works weekdays but man I want him to get the fever baaaaad!!! To me and to each his own... I could catch trout on top all day but it doesn't hold a candle to 20 pins locked up working 5x then committing feet down!!!
