Has anyone heard of anyone having problems fishing the coastal areas of the state? Charlie |

Yes, sad reality. The law that allows this was written to cover land adjacent to rivers during floods. It did not take long for the land owners in tidal zones to jump on the bandwagon.
This law combined with another law that states all land is posted and you must have written permission on your person stacks the odds against the fisherman. Tidal zones should have its own law and be governed differently. I have seen a video where tournament fishermen were warned about private canals but never heard of someone getting ticketed yet. |

Land owners are putting up cameras and calling the authorities. Tournament fisherman don't even want to fish here anymore. This is a bull**** law! The bad ones always mess it up for good guys!!!!!

If they don't want me fishing in it, they need to levee the whole thing off so my fish and other resources can't get it there. As long as my (public licensed anglers tax paid for) fish can swim in there I will go in there to catch them.
