Don't get your hopes up I'm sorry to say. Utterly underwhelming fishing dept, same prices as elsewhere. They do have good UA, Nike athletic selection.

This is based on Metairie and Baton Rouge stores.

****'s is an embarrassment of a sporting goods store. I don't go there just due to their gun policies, but I am not missing much.

No guns but if you need a LaCrosse stick or Helmet you can get it there. They also have some high end baseball stuff. Fishing section sucks but they do have paddleboards and Kayaks.

Baseball, football, etc... they are 10x better than academy. If you have kids playing sports you'll appreciate it. Fishing and hunting not so much!

Same here in Houston. Since they were bought out by a private equity group and have tried to implement a more JIT system, they never have any hot items in stock.

They have a really nice golf section, with putting greens and a swing anylizer. Probably the best department in there. They also have a bike store in there with bike mechanics and a really good fitness section with medicine balls, kettle balls, weight benches, higher end treadmills and elyptical trainers.

And if it's anything like the store in Metairie they are going to have some smokin hot female associates.

Yea, maybe sooner than that. A family friend had the prints on his desk a few months ago.
