Trolling Motor Paint
Alright guys, I need some help. I don't post on here much, but I am a long time reader and starting to contribute more lately. I have a problem with my trolling motor on my bass boat. The paint is starting to come off my trolling motor. What is the best way to repair this? Is there a certain kind of paint I need to use and do I need to prime it with anything? Never done a paint repair on the trolling motor before and want to make sure I do it right. Picture is below of my problem.

Sand it good and get ya a quart of Alumathane. Apply a couple of thin coats. Now, this is important.....if you don't apply the finish within 24 hours, you gotta sand the primer or your finish will NOT stick. Mercury lower unit finish should do the job.
