Default Dularge Trouts 12/1

Got a call last night from my uncle wanting to know if I wanted to go fishing with him and Nick. Got to his house at 0430, and was at Falgout's for 0600. Got dressed rather warm and left from the marina. Bite was a little slow at first but once we found it, we were slinging some nice trout over the Bullet's gunnel. Managed to catch #50 at around 0930 and decided to go look for more elsewhere as the bite was beginning to slow down. Found some birds diving but no joy on fish. Decided to attempt to catch some bass at a spot that we've done well at in the past back towards the launch. Threw some worms across a cattle gate blocking a private canal and slough and working back into the slough, we managed to keep 2 bass, and 2 reds that were 15 1/2 and 15 3/4 so back they went. Tried for some more specks but called it a day around noon.

Hit Lake Decade out of Falgout Landing this morning (late, about 8:30 a.m.) Drift and fish, drift and fish, in the middle of the lake, managed 44 for my son and I and two bonus reds by 1pm. Sparkle beetle under a cork. No pics.
