Default 7/23- good day frogging/new boat blind

Well got my new boat blind in yesterday from beavertail. must say that I am very impressed with quality and ease of use. pops up in literally seconds(as in like 2-3 seconds). very nice. And then went frogging last night and caught 17 + a nice catfish. should've had easily twice as many frogs but they were skiddish last night. We were doing everything perfect and soon as we would get about 5 foot from em they'd just jump or go under. we werent casting shadows, waves, noise, nothing. theyd just bolt

Nice. Not sure what kinda light your using but I use a sealed beam headlamp and that things beam is hot. I was spooking a lot of frogs too and I started keeping them main beam a little to the side of them when I got close and it seemed to help. Maybe it was just luck of the draw, but i think they can feel that sudden increase in temperature and it spooks them
