Default Grand Isle help ?

Hey fellas I'm heading to Grand Isle next weekend gonna be there sunday to thursday was wondering if anybody had a few tips on where the fish are biting or have caught fish at this time of year ? Any help would be appreciated !!

catching trout on the beach if you can get there. there is a rip line about 35 miles out if you are going out.

That there is a great suggestion. Friend just got back from the Isle and loaded up with big fish fishing the rocks on the west side of pass...live bait under cork was used. Good luck!

I would highly suggest live bait. you can catch on plastic but the bite can be really finicky this time of year

Thanks fellas was looking to stay close to the bay maybe hit the first set of rigs just depends how crazy me and my buddy get I'm just looking to put fish in the boat but he like try catch big fish that always break off his line. I'll prolly end up fishing some live shrimp if I do fish anywhere.

Try top water early then Carolina rigged croaker in August... pics are from mid August a couple years ago
