Worms or no worms ... Too much extra effort to clean.

I can have (2) 17"-18" ers done in the time it takes to fight cleaning a bull.

Just my opinion but I think the smaller ones eat noticeably better as well.

I hate cleaning the little ones. They are too soft to tear into but to tough to cut though easily. I always jack them up. I can clean a bigger slot or a bull in no time by just sawing through it with a serrated dexter.

I think this time a year tidal movement trumps water clarity. Find moving tide and bait and you will find fish. I caught some good fish in horrible water.

Thanks for the info Marque. That's what I was thinking anyway but there are people out there who think fish cant be caught in dirty water.

Slow down presentation and use the right colors and it's on here's a lil something to look at but of course we aren't fishing that deep but the dirty the water, cause the color to fade fast.uploadfromtaptalk1432828404241.jpg

I think they mainly keep track of the wind direction for days prior since they are always out there. We've been getting a bunch of SE winds, so I'd say right now SE banks are probably the cleanest.

Default B.L. water condition

You don't have to Beautiful water you just have to find the best water in the area. The Lee shore is always the best place to start but a good incoming tide can bring in clean water as well. A falling tide can bring Waters from protected areas into the lake also. These strong south winds have virtually stopped the tide from falling in the past week or so. there's a lot of variables to the clean water equation.

Someone just needs to create an app that tells you where the fish are at and what bait to catch them on. I would like an app like that! Screw the sport of finding them yourself lol.
