Big ducks moved in the last couple of days. First split was slow everywhere near me except for a couple lightly hunted crawfish ponds and the guys in the north flats. Flats had deep water and ducks all first split. No pro drive neccessary. If the weather man is right, there should be at least full limits of woodies for woods hunters from here on out. Another front the day after Christmas should send a lot of ducks down in the trees. My crew was hunting a mud puddle until the second split opener. We could still use a lot more rain.
