Default Triton v. NauticStar

Any opinions which hull would be better to fish the coast, either the Triton 24' bay boat or the Nautic Star 24' edition? Thanks.

I fish a 240lts and love it. My advice would be to wet test both boats and see which one you like the best.

How about in rougher waters? I'm also curious. Never been in a triton but nautic star yes. One thing i like about the nautic star is the gunnel rod holders, I don't think Triton has those.

Triton built it's name on ride quality. It's a heavy boat, not speed demon. U will run thru 2-3 ftrs no issue. I been nasty stuff n a triton and felt safe & sound. Layout on triton is amazing. I almost bought the boat I'm tellin u about..... But bought my wife a new car

I don't own either one.........just saying ..... I mean come on...dude ... Triton is one of the best bay boats on the market..... You cant even put NauticStar in that league of boats

Now if you would of asked NauticStar vs Pathfinder....You would of had some push and pull

Default Gas Money!

The Triton is much better hull but just think about how much gas and gear you can buy with the money you saved buying the Nauticstar, which is a fine boat. Then again if you can afford the Triton, take a look at the Blackjack. Thats a great boat

I think Blackjacks are the best bayboats also but they don't make a 24 last time I checked. Sometimes you need that extra room.

I talked to bill Kenner 2 years ago at a boat show, he said the 24 is deff. A possibility in the future but they are waiting on the economy to turn around b4 the go into production .

All the electronics and gear n the world won't make a boat ride like a triton......
Blackjack is great, but I get the feelin he wants 24 ft.

I saw a 2011 blackjack on tv pass today n manchac.
FINE!!!
Yammy 300 4 stoke, dual black power poles, all black exterior.... Wow!!
