Cheers Trout Bite Off The Charts 3-10-13

Day 2 with Jeff and Dawn Carson was even better than day 1. The couple enjoyed eating at Jugs last night and had another great night of sleep at The Reel Inn Lodge. We departed right before day break today. After arriving to our one and only stop and dropping the PowerPole, the trout bashing began!! It was fish on every cast. Incredible bite to say the least and my crew had a blast. Jeff's pole was smokin it was so hot from him reeling in fish after fish!! Then Dawn gets on a streak slinging them in one after another. All I could do was watch and unhook fish!! Once their run slowed a bit I got back in with them slinging in fish! It was all over and done with at 8:30am. We were back at the Lodge by 9:00 cleaning fish (just cant get any better). TTF KFM'S In East Beast color dominated today with Matrix Green Hornet and Tiger following. Steady retrieve in 2 foot of water did the trick. This was my crews first time speck fishing and I think I may have spoiled them!! They are headed back to Memphis with a full ice chest of fillets. Over 200 fish caught in our two day trip. I had great time guys, thanks so much. I look forward to your return.

Still in the marsh, too windy and dirty for the Bay.
