I heard the trout was good at night, and if my fishing partner had not had to back out due to a death I was going to see about going out on Sunday afternoon and staying till after dark to see what everyone has been raving about.

Are they kin to Kuluz, Creel, Pitalo, or Bahanovich? That is my moms side of the family.*

I fished the afternoon today and the birds were scattered but not to far apart that I could not keep up with them. Was able to land and tag 9 trout, the largest coming in right 16" and the smallest at 10.5". I did not have any plans on keeping any trout today, just surveying the area to see where I wanted to start first thing in the morning.

I think I am going to stay in the Bayou's and see what happens. Was talking to a couple of shrimpers and they said that they had been seeing a lot of shrimp and trout and that the number of trout have been increasing over the last week. Will let you know how it turns out tomorrow.
