Default 2003 24 ft. Sea pro or 2003 22 ft. Kenner vision???

Need help on this decision. Both boats are same price. Kenner is more beat up, scratches and stress cracks on interior and exterior. Kenner has 225 optimax and Seapro has 200 Yamaha. Sea pro has brand new trailer and kenner has beat up rusty trailer. Kenner has newer motor (2009 )

Neither.......Both very subpar boats...

Now Gunner, while I usually agree with you this is one I believe your absolutely wrong on. Hands down the Kenner is the best hull ever built for a bay boat. BP, post some pics of each boat but remember that Time is your Fran when purchasing a used boat. Price would also be good.

Totally disagree. Sea chaser is well below these two brands.

Totally agree with ray and bayouchub

Sea chaser is a low low end boat.
Just a fact.

Kenner is the godfather of bay boats.
Those hulls from the 90's are still in good shape if they were taken care of.
The sea pro is also a good hull, fit and finish not fancy but rides well and good layout.

I would def consider these 2 over a sea chaser.

Don't worry about trailer condition, just deduct it from the asking price by 2k -1500$ and go buy a nice new one for 3-4k. That's an option.

Stress cracks aren't a good sign.
Get some pics up for us "experts" to look at.

Yeah, the stress cracks are in the corners of the interior. Also, the motor gets this alarm when it's running wide open. Guy says its little rocks clogged in some hose from starting motor up on lauberge beach.. That also kind of scares me. But kenner motor is 2009 225 HP optimax with 50 hours.

bring it in and get it looked at. It can be hooked to computer to give any codes. If it is "just rocks" get current owner to fix it

Nah. Depending on the condition of the Kenner and price I'd give it a real close look. My brother in law has one and they are well built boats. If you can buy it right it would be worthwhile to put some money in to fix it up while you have a boat to fish with. But again it depends on the buy price and the condition of the boat. If your not sure bring it to a fiberglass shop and a mechanic to have a look over it. If the seller is serious he shold not have a problem with this. If he does walk away and look for another boat.

Ive never rode in a Kenner but have always heard they are a very solid boat and will last a lifetime if good care is taken. I have rode in a sea pro and I will tell you that they handle rough water very well. That being said I do not like the look of a Sea Pro very much.

The old 23' kenners are the ones that gave them their reputation.
I don't know squat about the vision line.

Hands down the vision! I have a 2001 and absolutely love it. great ride.

Edit: Just re-read the first statement and like the others say, get it looked at first. And trailers are pretty cheap.

If you have to pick out of just these two, get Kenner

But there are way better bay boats out there than these two boats
