Dularge Trout Fishing
4/10/12---A beautiful day 'Down Dularge'! A little bumpy to start but the gulf slicked out by 9:00am. Just a wonderful day to be on the water! The trout ate up this morning as we caught 250 fish with 3 boats running today. Capts George Landry, Gerald Ellender along with myself really whacked the trout on double rigged LSU & Chicken on a chain Bayou Chubs. Plenty of good fish in the 16-23in range! I fished with Walter Voorhies, Dr Walter Scott and Rob Cenac. We had our 100 by 9:30 and the guys had a blast doing the DU! Water quality is great with clear green water and calm seas make it easy. Looking forward to busting up the fish again tomorrow before the wind picks back up on Thursday. Good luck fishing. Capt Bill Lake 985-637-3712 985-851-6015 |
