Default Vermillion Bay 8/25/09

Went out of The Chien to Vermillion Bay, Nothing but dead calm chocolate milk. Fished a couple flocks of birds hitting the water just to catch ladyfish and gaftops.

Went back at the mouth, tied on a pogie and within 2 minutes, this shark was on.

What the hell can you do with that? Good to eat? Size Limit? I had no idea so it went back... nice workout though!

i think it has to be a certain length... im not too keen on sharks... they bite... HARD.... i hardly catch them... except this one time when i was fishing in Empire.. had about a 7-9 footer brush the side of the boat and i threw my offshore pole with a cut trout on the other end at it and it spooled off 250 yards of 100# test in less than a minute...
