Tablerock lake is a good diversion in Branson while there. You can rent pontoon boats or actually hire a guide to do some smallmouth bass fishing.

Spent a week there with the kids a few years back..silver dollar city, celebration city and a water park in town were fun..traffic sucks, find the side streets to travel on if you can. There is a outdoor mall along the river (branson landing blvd.) that has good food, scenery and some shopping. Have fun..

From age 5 to 15 I spent every summer there with my grandpaw. Very pretty area with plenty to do. Smallmouth bass fishing is a blast on table rock lake. Never forget the trip we made about 5 years ago. We were fishing in 40 foot of water with a rock ledge that went up to 10 foot. Throwing zara spooks over the ledge and you would watch the smallmouth come up and smack it. A 3 pound smallmouth fight like a 5 pound largemouth, them lil suckers dont give up. Rainbow trout fishing is also good on taneycomo but to me smallmouth is alot more fun.

Default Branson

Google Branson and you will get all the information you need for hotel, bed-n-breakfast, resorts. All show will also be listed. May also provide information on damages from tornadoes. Good shows are Dixie Stampede, Yakoff Smirnoff, Soshi Tabushi, and I think its called Brothers 5 ( 5 brothers who imitate musical sounds with mouth and sing ). All great shows. Of course Bass Pro about 45 minutes north @ Springfield. But in general, all shows good. Also go to old downtown Branson, small Bass Pro and other shopping and eating there right on river. Been there probably 13-15 times.

Default Branson is Fun !!

Make a go to Silver Dollar City west of Branson, you can spend the whole day and never see it all, Has a guy from Kaplan that does the Cajun Show, he been there 25+ years, cedric benoit is his name. The Titantic is a great place to vist, lots of great stories about that boat sinking. Visit down town, The Landing, for some great Music live at nite, Bass Pro is there and lots to see.
For some great Cajun food visit Indian Point area, south of Silver Dollar City, and go to Crazy Cajun Kitchen. Have a good time, you will enjoy it!!!

If yall do go and you make a trip to the Big Bass Pro you have to go eat at Lamberts.... home of the throwed roll. My father inlaw told me he heard they would have everything in Branson back up and runnin in 3 weeks, suppose to have big crews workin 24-7 to get it back to normal.

On your way there detour to Gastons, get a guide and fish the White River.

Big Cedar just outside Branson is very nice.

I have lived in MO most of my life. I just wanted to throw out a little reminder that they just had a tornado hit the strip in Branson.

The restaurant at Big Cedar Lodge is awesome. Also, a bar near the Branson BPS called Waxy O'Shea's is nice.
