I was getting online to ask the same question, I was out there Saturday, went through the pass but it was rough and muddy, came back in went to Trash Pile but did not pick up anything went anf found some clear water and caught a few Reds. Hopefully the wind has laid down and the water is clearing up.

The water looked great around the Weeks bay, Trash Pile area. I did not get a chance to make the run to the point or Cote Blanche area. This was last weekend.

There is a few trout being caught around blue point and trash pile. My neighbor caught a few there last week. Reds and flounder are biting good at marsh island.

the water around the pass needs to clear up, thats where i always catch my fish. does anyone know why the water is so dirty by the pass right now? anyone know if dry reef or any of the rigs in the bay are doing good on specks or white trout? talked to a buddy of mine who fished in weeks bay and said he caught a few reds and a couple sheepshead.

I talked to one buddy said he picked up a couple of trout at dry reef last weekend, the water was muddy went I went through there. Thinking I am fishing Sunday Morning, but have not looked at tides and weather yet, weather has been mild so hopefully the water will clear some.

i'm new to fishing the bay. where is the trash pile? and also other spots i can pull in trout. i'm tired of dragging my boat from youngsville to lake charles to get some saltwater fish and it's getting expensive and killing my clutch.

I live in Youngsville also, Copperfield Estates, give me a shout, we can split it up if you make some Lake Charles runs

I fished VBay a little last year but put in at Intercoastal City and fished for reds around the game warden camp area, never tried for trout on the Cyp Point side. Its pretty much feast or famine over there I hear, but when they 'run' you can catch some good ones, but so do all the other 200 boats
