Default Crabbing and fishing

Has anyone heard anything on the crabbing and/or fishing anywhere between rollover to cameron? Any report is appreciated

With the early warm spring, I'd think the crabs should be out by now...even though it's been a little cool since then. Shouldn't have any trouble.

That's kinda what I was thinking, thanks for the info hopefully we can go get a limit I've been hungry for crabs

i have tried last week and the week before and asking around a lot for info and for what its worth, over here by lake ponchatrain the crabs haven't been biting yet because its still too cold.

its frustrating because the crab trap guys have been catching good after 2-3 day soaks but nets and hand lines aren't even seeing any crabs yet other then the rare hot day to catch 3 or 4.

even though the weather "seams" warmer, it doesn't seam to have triggered any early crab action, least not over here.

So we had a change of plans and decided we are not gonna take the boat out tommorow, does anyone know of any places around cameron that's decent crabbing and fishing from the bank?

where do you crab in lake ponchatrain? my son moved there and was wondering?
