I think there will be a solid sack pulled each day from each body of water (lake arthor, calcasieu, sabine and neches ) think somebody will pull a brute up north on Calcasieu. Taylor's will get hammered, it was getting hit hard before official practice. But it definitely has good fish in there. We went in there, flipped 6 trees, had a 3 1/2 and a chunk 2 3/4 or so.

When the Tournament was in New Orleans the ran from Bayou Segnette State PArk, the launch point all the way to the Atchafalaya Basin and a few even went to Venice to fish the river.

The only stipulation is that they have to be abck at a certain time I believe.

So they run from Sabine down the Intracoastal to get to the Calcasieu River or all the way over to Lake Arthur? If so, that's quite a haul.

Yeah orange to cal locks is about 37-38 miles by water... And roughly 65-67miles by water to lake aurthur. According to navionics... So u figure avg speed of 70mph.. Should take less than an hr.

I mean we are talking big bucks on the line. If your on fish, make the run. But fishing time is playing a key factor. Several of the pros told me they would rather have plenty of time to find fish than to run just to hope to find those big fish. It's a gamble. Talked to one elite who stuck a 7lber yesterday.
