you can fish close to the first weir but your not supposed to get out your boat there. first weir is not part of the refuge.

The last weir is on private property. You can go all the way up to it, unless the land
owner posts a sign or tells you to move off his property.

Sunday I left at dark to take my son on a Live Bait fishing trip behind the "Wiers". Pull up to the pole right behind the "Sign" and catch bait, 24' Triton comes through and tells me I am "In his spot" and he is "Trying to make a Living"kind a tall with red/blond hair. Another boat comes up and ties up just infront of me and brings out the Market Skrimps. You would have thought they had a dead donkey on their boat with all the Flys. Next, the NAACP Floatilla pimps by lookin for dem crabs an skrimps.
These dudes decide it is betta to fish from the bank, wish I could have taken a betta picture so the boat #'s would show for LDWF.

The boat tied up that close to me would get a hook or two in the skin.

Having my Very Impressionable 9 yo in the boat makes it hard to Verbally Decapitate the many RICHARDS on the lake. Guess it is good since at one time I would have really gone off on these guys. He has picked enough bad habits from me already, don't need him to be calling people out at 9 yo which he would if given the chance.

The guide became a Mute when I asked him "Who he worked for?"

we all know what happens when W meets a guide.

he tells them off beats them up and swears that that person is done

later that night, the guide gets on SC, and tells the truth

Man my memory must be getting bad. I seem to remember someone posting up scuttlebutt about it, but then you showed up to make sure everyone had vv's version of the story, which evidently was not quite true either.
