Rolleyes The "Flying Fisherman"

The past few days I've been entertaining thoughts of making another wading trip to Baffin Bay. If I were to fly, what arrangements are made to carry your rods? Just don't think I can make that drive again.

It'd almost be worth the drive just to pass by the LSU-E sign again!

If you are looking for a fishing partner on that trip let me know, I have been wanting to go and one of my employees has a camp down in Baffin and can probably point us to guides and whatever else we need.

Some things just never die. Do they have an airport at LSU-e?

I just checked the airline websites and it looks like it'd be cheaper to buy a rod down there. Problem is....there is no place to buy a rod down there.

Casey, I'll send ya a PM. Capt. Aubrey Black is the guide I have in mind.

I will sometimes have carpentry trim delivered to a site in a 10 ft reinforced cardboard tube. I used one once to carry 6 rods to the Amazon and it worked great. You might check a cabinet shop for one.

Ship it via UPS to the location you are going. When your trip is over just ship it back.
